Caught Smilin'!

YAY for me! I smiled yesterday for the first time on purpose! It's not always when I am looking at Mommy or Daddy, but I smile when Mommy talks to me.... She says some pretty silly things sometimes and talks funny too, but I like it a lot! There will be lots more smiles where this one came from!
Eli really likes to pose for pictures with me. My face kinda shows that I am not too enthusiastic about taking a picture at the moment. Let me assure you that this is NOT how I feel about my big brother! I love him a lot.

This is how I show Mommy that I am hungry... Other than screaming at the top of my lungs and pouting. I am the BEST at sticking my lower lip out and frowning when I am not happy. Mommy hates it when I am unhappy, but she laughs when I give her "the lip."

Look how alert I am! Mommy can't get over how beautiful I am with my gigantic big blue eyes.

She says she never pictured herself dressing her baby girl in blue, but that's my best color to wear!

2 Months Old!!

Well, for those of you who don't already know.... I am a big girl now. Today marks my 2 month birthday! I went to the doctor today and got all new stats! Here's where I am:

Weight at birth: 5 lbs 15 oz Current Weight: A WHOPPING 9 lbs, 10 oz. (Thats almost 4 pounds in 2 months!)

Length at birth: 18.5 inches Current length: 21.2 inches

WOW! I told you that I am a big girl! The doctor said that I am very healthy as she checked my ears, eyes and tummy. I had to get 4 shots and take a medicine orally that tasted really bad. I made a funny face! I cried for a minute, but then I was better.

Other things that I can do now:

-focus on things and even follow them even though sometimes my eyes go crossed!

-hold my head pretty well on my own.

-I like to try to push up on things with my arms, but am not too good at it yet.

I still have not smiled, however I do smirk occassionally when Mommy and Daddy try to make me smile...

Bath Time!

I really enjoy my bath time now. Mommy always gives me a bath right before lunch time. She says she is happy that she has some sort of schedule down. I get a bath at about 10:30 and then lunch at 11:00-11:30 with Eli. Then, we both take naps so Mommy can take a shower! We are nice to her....sometimes.

Big brother Eli loves me sooooo much! He tries to kiss and hug me all day long. Mommy gets frustrated with him sometimes because he won't leave me alone, but I don't mind. Sometimes if I am crying and Eli comes to kiss me, I will stop crying and look at him. He's goofy!

I really love to take naps in my swing, but only if the music is turned on. This is me taking a quick snooze before Daddy gets home from work....(notice the little hand off to the left of this picture. I'm telling you, Eli is always by my side!)

Today we got pictures taken of me and big brother Eli! This is the same video on Eli's blog, but wanted one on mine too!

A Happy Girl

Eli really loves me a lot. He is giving me kisses in this picture! He gets concerned for me when I get upset and always runs to tell Mommy that I am crying. He tries to comfort me too by giving me hugs. He even tries to pick me up sometimes. That makes Mommy nervous!
