4 Months Old!

Well, as most of you know, tomorrow I am turning 4 months old already! Yesterday I went in for my 4 month check up and here are my new stats:

Weight: 12 lbs, 7 oz (25%, I was born in the 5%, so I'm a growing fool!)

length: 23 inches (10%)

head: I am in the 4%

So, I am gaining weight very well. I am still small for my age, but that is to be expected. And the doctor said I have an itty bitty head! Silly doctor. A fun fact is that when Eli turned 3 months old (a month younger than me now) he weighed 13 lbs!!! I am a whole month older and still weigh less than he did! Everyone still says I look tiny, but Daddy and Mommy says, "You should've seen her when she was born! She's huge now!" Thats true, I have more than doubled my birth weight!

The doctor said that I can start eating rice cereal and 1st baby foods too! Mommy doesn't think that I am ready for baby food yet, but she put some cereal in my bottle last night and I liked it a lot. It helped me sleep longer! I also had to get shots, but I was a trooper and only cried (really hard) for a minute or two.

All Smiles

Mommy just never gets tired of my smiles! She can't help but take lots of smiley pictures of me either. I don't laugh a whole lot, but I am mastering the art of grins!
Look at how well I can support my weight and push-up! I am a strong little girl! Today is my 17 week birthday. Can you believe that I will be 4 months old on Sunday?!! I'm practically a woman now.

By the way, do I look chubby to you? Everyone says that I have put on a little weight.... Hmm, guess that means that Mommy is feeding me very well!! Tomorrow afternoon is my 4 month check-up. I have to get shots, but Eli says that you get some neato stickers to put on your ouchies til they feel better. Check back for my current length and weight! Also, keep your fingers crossed for me that the doctor gives the thumbs up for me to start eating some rice cereal! Yummy, more food!

Jaydlie Smiles

Sorry this picture looks a bit funny. When Mommy took it, it was really blurry and way to bright. So she tried to darken and sharpen it because she wanted you all to see my beautiful smile! Look how my blue eyes twinkle when I smile! Mommy cries almost every single time that I smile at her like this. I get so excited when I smile, I let out coo's and I even snort sometimes!

Mommy loves this picture of me wrapped in my towel! Look at my chubby cheeks and my cute dimple! Daddy and Mommy always say, "We're gonna have the beat boys off with a bat when you get older!" Hmmmm.... What does that mean?!

Grandma Kathy and Us

Here is Grandma Kathy, Eli and I posing for a picture before Grandma had to go home. Mommy and Daddy didn't get many pictures of us with Grandma Kathy, so I stole this one from Grandma's blog. We had so much fun and the time just flew by!

Some new things with me:

-I just recently got my second tooth!!

-A couple of days ago, I giggled for the first time. It was when Elijah was giving me a hug.

All About ME!

Okay, I know, I know. My Grandma Kathy is here and I am posting pictures of me and Mommy. It seems like we've been taking lots of photos, but apparently they have been on Grandma Kathy's camera. I promise we'll take more and post some soon! But, what do you think, do I look like Mommy??
This is the pretty purple blanket that Grandma Kathy made for me with butterflies on it! She took the design from the butterflies on my bedroom walls and put it on my blankie!

This is the care bear that she made for me too! She made Eli one a couple of years ago, which is the blue one, and mine is the pink. Aren't they cute!

I know this is a small post but, I will be back soon to post more!

A Busy Girl

I am very good at focusing on objects now and seem to be a "ham" in front of the camera as much as my big brother is.



In the picture above, Mommy thought my BIG blue eyes really stood out! In the picture to the right, Great Grandma Connie is holding me and I am smiling at Great-Great Grandma Helen.
