I Sit at the Big Table!!

I recently moved up in life from sitting in my highchair, to sitting at the big table!
This is the cool new seat that Santa Claus brought me for Christmas, and I like it a lot! I still make a big mess during every meal, but I feel so grown up now.

The pictures aren't the best... I thought Mommy was being silly trying to take pictures of us while were eating! We weren't cooperative at all!

Before Bedtime

Tonight after bathtime and brushing teeth, we went and played in Eli's room! Eli's room has all the toys and my favorite...the kangaroo climber!!
I also like to get into the toybox and empty everything out onto the floor. Of course, I don't like to clean up.

My favorite is the slide! I love to go down on my belly every single time!

Mommy took this picture to show off my pretty curls! Even the top is getting long and starting to curl too! It's also no surprise that my hair is turning blond. Mommy still thinks it's funny that she has dark, straight hair and I have blond curly hair!

Playing at the Park!

Now that I've gotten a little older, I LOVE the park! It's been so nice outside lately, that Mommy and Daddy decided that we should go and play outside in the 70 degree weather!
My favorite things at the park are the slides and the swings. I laugh when Mommy pushes me on the swings, and the slides are fun to do all by myself! I can walk up the stairs all by myself and plop down on my belly and go down the slide without any help! I'm such a daredevil!!

When Daddy and Mommy said that it was time to go bye-bye, I threw the biggest fit ever! I was pretty darn proud of myself for throwing such a good temper tantrum... Afterall, I will be 2 in a few short months. I'm just starting my terrible two's a little early!

Me- On the SLIDE!!

I got to go on the slide for the very first time about a week ago. What I learned is that I LOVE SLIDES! I walk right up to it and throw myself down on my belly. I have no fear, because Mommy is there to catch me! Watch the videos... They're funny!


Note from Mommy:
We took Jaydlie in for her testing (VCUG) this morning. Despite her screaming and moving around, I think she did a very good job! Poor baby...
The Doctor said that she has not grown out of her reflux, and it hasn't gotten any better. The Doctor also said that it looks like it is not caused by a malfunctioning valve, but that she has what they call a "duplicate system." This means, she may have 2 tubes, instead of 1. After her kidney's process the urine, they release it to the bladder to be excreted. However, when she urinates, it is going back up a tube that isn't even supposed to be there.
We are to call the urologist tomorrow to set up a consultation appointment for in the near future. They will then be able to tell us if this is, in fact, her problem. We will then find out what needs to be done to correct it. Until then, she will stay on her daily antibiotics to prevent infections. We'll keep you posted.

My 18 Month Check-Up!

For some reason, our memory for the camera is being temperamental. So, here are some pictures of me from when I was born! I'm 18 months now, and look at how small I once was!
The D0ctor said that I am growing very well! Although I had to get a shot today, the check-up wasn't so bad. Here are my overall stats:

Height- 31.3 inches (25th percentile)
Weight- 22.6 lbs (25th percentile, and I was fully clothed with shoes!)

I'm still small, but am growing right along with the chart. So, now that I'm a big girl, I have started doing some new things. I can pretend to talk on the phone, I point at things with my finger, I climb on everything, I "talk" all the time. The words that I am saying now include, hi, dada, butt, love, ho ho ho, bye-bye (sometimes), up, and recently I started saying Eli!

Note from Mommy:
We are also taking Jaydlie down to see the urologist on Thursday this week to have another VCUG done. We will find out if her reflux has absolved, stayed the same, or worsened. We are crossing our fingers that she has grown out of the problem, and we no longer have to worry about it! We'll let you know...

We Went Golfing!

Well, actually I didn't golf at all, but I did run around and let Mommy take some super cute pictures of me!
The weather is a bit chilly, but the sun was out and shining!
