Hi everybody, just thought that I would let you know how I am doing. I went back to the hospital yesterday to check my weight. I had been in on Monday (the day after I went home) and had lost 7.2% of my body weight already, and weighed 5 lbs., 8 oz. The doctors said that was a little too much and wanted to monitor me. On Wednesday, the hospital said that I had gained a 1/2 oz. Mommy was hoping for more, but Grandma said it was good since I didn't eat much at all on Monday. I was having difficulty eating, but am doing a little better now. Also, they are watching my jaundice. I have gotten a little worse, but am still not bad for my age.
Anyhow, I have to go back to the hospital tomorrow again for another weigh in and serum test for my jaundice levels. Everyone says that I have had a rough time because I am so little and everyone wants to make sure that I am okay since I was a little early.
Other than that, things are going well. Today was my first outing! We went to lunch and then to the store that has lots of toys for my big brother. I slept through everything! Grandma Donita says that I'm her little angel and I'm soo sweet!

Hi, Jaydlie. Grandpa sure is glad you're eating better. I wish I could see you but we'll just have to wait a couple more weeks. You slept through our first webcam meeting, but that's alright. You'd had some big days in there. We'll see you soon!
Hey little one, I sure hope you are feeling better and a little less yellow soon. I am glad you are starting to put that weight back on. Remember slow and steady won the race. I know that everything will be okay, What with God, Grandma Donita, Mommy, Daddy and Eli all looking out for you, you can't go wrong. Love you lots. Sure wish I was there with you as well. Okay Jaydlie, you need to tell momma that it has been 4 days since she has posted any pics of you. Grandma Kathy wants to know how you are doing. So get on momma's case for me okay?? Love you lots..
