I got to go on the slide for the very first time about a week ago. What I learned is that I LOVE SLIDES! I walk right up to it and throw myself down on my belly. I have no fear, because Mommy is there to catch me! Watch the videos... They're funny!
Note from Mommy:We took Jaydlie in for her testing (VCUG) this morning. Despite her screaming and moving around, I think she did a very good job! Poor baby...
The Doctor said that she has not grown out of her reflux, and it hasn't gotten any better. The Doctor also said that it looks like it is not caused by a malfunctioning valve, but that she has what they call a "duplicate system." This means, she may have 2 tubes, instead of 1. After her kidney's process the urine, they release it to the bladder to be excreted. However, when she urinates, it is going back up a tube that isn't even supposed to be there.
We are to call the urologist tomorrow to set up a consultation appointment for in the near future. They will then be able to tell us if this is, in fact, her problem. We will then find out what needs to be done to correct it. Until then, she will stay on her daily antibiotics to prevent infections. We'll keep you posted.

Wow JJ you are really fast down that slide. It's a good thing your mommy is a fast catcher! I'm sorry to here your reflux isn't any better and will be waiting to hear what the doctor has to say about it. I have never heard of such a thing. See already... you want one more of things than everyone else lol... I am sure you will be fine. I will be praying to God to take really good care of you. Love you bunches and bunches, Grandma Kathy
